As an entrepreneurial company, we know how important it is to get that first business break, particularly during difficult economic times. So, we’d like to do our bit and help a young, Norfolk or Suffolk based entrepreneur get their brilliant business idea off the ground.

What’s the big idea?

If you have a great business idea, enter Your Brilliant Business Idea 2012 for your chance to win more than £10k’s worth of business IT equipment and business mentoring.

What’s the big prize?

• Business laptop including Windows 7 Professional and MS Office 2010
• Business wireless printer
• Bespoke logo design
• Bespoke website designed to your specification/online store
• Business mentoring – up to 2 days per month (1 year)
• Shared office use in Long Stratton for 6 months (including access to business broadband, and we’ll throw in the tea and coffee too)
• Monthly Search Engine Optimisation (1 year)

How to enter: give us your elevator pitch

Imagine sharing a lift with a potential investor and you only have the time from the lift doors closing on the ground floor, to the doors opening on the tenth floor, to sell them your brilliant idea.

This is your ‘elevator pitch’.

Tell us in 300 words what your business idea is, why it’s your passion, and how you‘re going to make it happen.

We’ll choose a shortlist of the applicants with the best ideas, and then ask them for more details of their proposed business (this is the business plan bit) to help us choose an overall winner.

Who can enter?

Sorry to spoil a good competition with rules – fortunately there aren’t many:

• This competition is only open to new businesses
• Applicants must be aged 25 and under
• Applicants must be based in Norfolk or Suffolk
